What is acupuncture and moxibustion?

Acupuncture and moxibustion is one of the most important parts of traditional Chinese medicine, it has a long historical significance in treating systemic diseases. These treatments started as a family practice and evolved to become a fully studied science and is now applied clinically. Scientifically these treatments will heal "internally."

Acupuncture is done using a milliform needle inserted into various meridians which will treat various illnesses

Moxibustion is done by burning moxa wool at certain points on the skin and using heat to stimulate wellness and treat various illnesses.

We are a team of licensed and professional acupuncturists certified by the National Acupuncture Certification and National Certification Commision for Acupuncture(NCCAOM). Currently our primary provider is Ms. Jin who is licensed with NYS, with a masters in science and acupuncture. She is a dedicated professional with many years of experience in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

We currently specialize in pain management, acupuncture for women's health in all regards, and cosmetic acupuncture which includes rejuvenation of your face, the wellness of your skin, reduction of wrinkles and toning your stomach. 

We also provide guidance in eastern nutrition and health and we will give you our expert recommendations and consultation for what treatment best fits your needs.

Ancient Traditional Chinese Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves the insertion of very thin needles through your skin at strategic points on your body. A key component of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is most commonly used to treat pain. Pain Management, Arthritis, Anxiety, Insomnia, Allergy, Asthma, Gastrointestinal Disorder, Immune Disorder, Menstrual Disorder, Infertility, Sexual Dysfunction, prostatitis, Facial Paralysis. Increasingly, it is being used for overall wellness, including stress management.

Chinese Meridian Acupressure Therapy

Acupressure is an alternative healing modality brought to focus by traditional Chinese medicine,  Fans of the practice have reported targeted pain relief, reduced stress and anxiety, and a greater sense of calm and well-being.  

Chinese Meridian Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy is an ancient healing method that may ease back pain, neck pain, headaches and other issues. It uses suction to pull on your skin and increase blood flow to the affected area. 

Chinese Meridian Moxibustion Therapy

Moxibustion is a kind of external treatment; it is based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and it usually bakes acupoints with burning moxa wool. Moxibustion can dredge meridians and regulate qi-blood and has been used to prevent and cure diseases for more than 2500 years.

Chinese Meridian Scraping Therapy

Scraping, also known as "Gua Sha". Gua sha is a technique in traditional East Asian medicine. Scraping is a treatment technique using tools which enables clinicians to efficiently locate and treat soft tissue tightness and injury. The scraping instruments help break up these adhesions and restore normal tissue mobility, just like any other form of soft tissue mobilization or deep tissue massage.

Chinese Herbal Pasting Patch
